Gender note
On our website, we refrain from using multiple gender forms simultaneously (male, female, and diverse). Unless stated otherwise, all personal designations naturally apply equally to all people, as we — of course — respect both genders and all identities beyond the binary equally.
Nevertheless, we use the so-called generic masculine form in our written and spoken language. We do this to ensure better readability. Furthermore, it is our conviction that language remains one of the most important means of communication to foster human connection and meaningful exchange.
In our view, the use of gender-neutral or gender-inclusive language often emphasizes differences rather than promoting understanding. It can even complicate communication. Additionally, linguistic gender equality sometimes leads to situations where certain expressions receive unintended special emphasis, provoke negative reactions, or offend the feelings of other groups. From our perspective, such discussions often miss the actual point and instead create problems that are neither helpful nor constructive within the respective context.
For these reasons, we kindly ask you to respect our use of the classical language form — just as we, without exception, respect all people, regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, physical characteristics, origin, or skin color.
