At FIBO, the world’s leading trade fair for fitness, wellness and health, Life Fitness / Hammer Strength showcased a stand that brought performance, innovation and product quality to life.
For several years running, we have been supporting Life Fitness in the design and implementation of their trade fair presence. Within this long-term partnership, we continuously refine the stand concept whilst maintaining clear brand management and high brand recognition.
The challenge
In a highly competitive trade fair environment, the task was to create a trade fair stand that:
- showcases an extensive, high-quality product portfolio
- enables live training sessions and authentic product experiences
- creates distinct zones for product presentation, experience and communication
- architecturally emphasises Life Fitness’s brand leadership
The challenge was to combine maximum openness and dynamism with a clear structure, clear wayfinding and professional communication areas.
Concept & Design Approach
Spanning over 700 square metres, an open, walk-through gym and experience space was created, combining training, brand presentation and interaction.
A two-storey stand structure formed the central design focal point and ensured a strong visual impact from a distance within the exhibition hall. Clean lines, minimalist materials, bold brand colours and strategically placed lighting conveyed precision, performance and brand strength.
Key Elements
The exhibition stand combined a training experience, clear brand architecture and functional communication areas into a holistic overall concept, reflected in the following key elements:
- Fully integrated gym areas for live training sessions, demonstrations and authentic product experiences
- Clearly defined brand zones for Life Fitness and Hammer Strength, each with its own visual identity
- A two-storey stand design with a separate meeting and hospitality area on the upper floor
- Strategically integrated digital elements to support storytelling, product information and brand management
- Clear visitor guidance and an intuitive spatial layout for a high-quality visitor experience and efficient navigation
The result
The exhibition stand attracted a very high volume of visitors and generated lively interaction across all areas of the stand. Visitors took the opportunity to test products first-hand, train live and receive detailed advice.
At the same time, the upper floor provided a quiet, professional setting for meetings and in-depth discussions. For many trade fair visitors, the stand was one of the highlights of FIBO and underlined Life Fitness’s position as the industry’s leading brand.
Conclusion
This project demonstrates the strength of a long-standing partnership based on trust, continuity and a shared commitment to continuously improving our trade fair presentations year on year. Through close collaboration with Life Fitness, we create brand experiences that do more than simply showcase products; they bring them to life in a lasting way.
